This is true in some cases. To be completely honest it depends on how strong the individual is. For instance, say your single and then this bad guy asks you out and you say yes. That bad company will corrupt your good morals. Its like he brainwashes you to be like him. Although it may not seem that way at first, you'll realize a change when you start thinking about doing bad stuff to people. BUT if you would've said no when he asked you out, then you wouldn't of had to go through any of it. Do you get what I'm trying to say? It's all about the strength of the person with the good morals!

Good morals are only as strong as one's convictions. This doesn't mean that good people can't be corrupted, but if there is moral fiber the person may eventually put the corrupt behavior behind them and use it as a learning experience.
Perfection is only for Saints and I don't know any. I do, however know some moralistic perfectionists that I detest. Our flaws are what make us human. Corruption isn't inevitable.
I was speaking as an adult , and it does take strength for young folks to refrain from smoking and other habits that endanger their health and well being; however I was referring to life's major corruptions as listed in the Ten Commandments .

Not always, but usually. The good morals need to be very strong and also have "good company" to be with also, though. In that case, the good morals can be an example.

NO I don't believe that is always true. I think that a person who truly has "good morals" in other words its' who they truly are can have a positive impact on someone who is struggling. I say it that way because "bad company" can mean different things depending and I have the belief that we are all valuable beings. My only caution would be if this person has a negative or depressing attitude it can wear on you...but I think we are here to help each other and learn from each other. it is quite possible that the person you speak of is in your life for you to help him/her. Best of luck to you!!

absolutely not. if you have been raised in a strong moral background, all the bad company in the world can't stop you. i have friends that i grew up with who are into smoking, drinking, and drugs, now, and i have never been corrupted. your morals come from within you, not from external influencing factors. just listen to your heart. if something doesn't sound right, don't do it. your morals are your own.

Depends on how strong you are. When you are in bad company and you are asked to do something against your nature will you do it? Will you stand your ground?
Your question is true, but false also because you can make a choice to not do something you don't want to do but most of the time you will do it because of peer pressure.

No. Sometimes good morals corrupt bad company. (ex. 12 angry men.)

Its true most of the time. Even if you think you can associate with bad company without compromising your morals, you may do so without knowing it.
