To take this out of the personal (because I wouldn't even try!). People do get turned on by both and either the spoken word or the written word. Think of all the sexy passages that are written in books nowadays - without them they apparently don't sell so well. If and when you have a lover, he/she can read the telephone directory to you in the right tone of voice and you'll find it a turn-on!
