Because we don't have enough rap "music" stations in this hellhole city. No wonder why the murder rate is through the roof!

found this at philly.com and more about the format change
Sunny 104.5 and Smooth Jazz 106.1 will cease to exist at some point today as Clear Channel Radio prepares to reformat the two stations.

I don't live in PA but I do know that radio stations change format all the time, like if they get bought by a different company, or if the ratings are not high enough with one format they switch to another. I live in Orlando and last year the oldies station was switched to spanish music!

I heard the same thing!! That pissed me off. I used to enjoy listening to WJJZ when I just wanted to relax and chill.
Does anyone know if there are any other Smooth Jazz stations out there on regular radio? Email me.

I presume that because you're 24, you want a social existence. So, being close to downtown must be good. try Queen Village or previous city. of route crime is larger contained in the city, yet those elements are rather secure. you may take a short cab journey to thirtieth St Station to get a convention to the airport. you may also evaluate the western fringe of middle city and the paintings Museum area.
