So I work the door at a night club Thur Fri Sat. A group of Gay women came thru for a lil while. One was very impressed with how polite I was, and my mannerisms another girl recomemded me. They have some type of show coming up in September and she asked If I would work security.

She talked to me for about 10 minutes, I will make about 150 to two hundred bucks, which is cool. The job is easy, make sure no hanky panky is going on in the bathroom, when people get too drunk call them a cab and stop any fights and have the participants removed. Thats easy no problem.

As a guy in that setting I am nervous as hell. Granted I won't show it when I'm there. I feel like as a Guy I shouldn't be there even thou I was offered the job, I'm a guy. I don't know how I would react if I encounter women being mad becasue I'm there.

On another note I have no problem doing the Job, I will do a good job I'm not there to watch and gawk I've been on several spring breaks so I won't see anything new.

It won't make any difference you will still be a good door person and that is what will be recognized.

When you work security you work security weather its at a strip club, gay bar, rodeo, police mans ball, whatever.

Just do the job you're paid to do. They want you because you're the best person. It would silly and sexist of them to only hire lesbian bouncers.

When i go to clubs I don't care the size or sex of the security, I just trust this person must be good or else they wouldn't be there.

as long as you're doing your job, I have no problem. now, the lesbian bar we go to there's a gal at the door most of the time. but I never have a problem when it's a guy. there's also male bartenders as well. have you had any women object to your being there? you didn't mention that...if not, why are you nervous?

All that matters is that you're good at your job. It's the same job no matter whether it's at some club or a lesbian bar. Just be professional and do the job you're paid to.

As long as you are good at your job and are acting in a professional manner it should not offend anyone that you are a guy.

Personally, I wouldn't be offended. You were hired by the people who organized the party, so what's the problem? I don't think anyone would be offended, and if they are it's just ridiculous.

I would be concerned if a fight broke out. Women fight meaner than men. You could get seriously injured.
