I recently bought a pair of biscuit colour nubuck mens shoes (UK)
I did not notice at the time of purchase that there is a slight colour variation between the two shoes. It is impractical to return the shoes. I have tried to use a neutral suade cleaner but it makes no difference.

Can you suggest a suitable dye or other method to even them out.
I do not want to radically change the colour.

Suede and nubuck can be dyed to limited colors. As the dye readily soaks into this leather surface the color can be effected by the original color of the shoes. If dyeing an already colored shoe, bear in mind this will alter the new dyed color, if the dye job is not significantly darker in color. Dyeing both suede and nubuck alters the soft feel of the leathers, but an all-protective spray applied regularly helps soften the surface. the Moneysworth & Best Suede and Nubuck Protector works well). We recommend suede and nubuck be dyed to simple basic colors, as it is very difficult to match them to specific shades. The dye process also effects the suede nap and the color can appear slightly streaked, due to nap direction.
I have also added a website to purchace Nubuck shoe dye
