Everyone knows it isn't healthy but people keep fast food companies in business by buying unhealthy food. Why do we do it?

Because the people who order those things aren't concerned abour their health at that particular moment. My boys are healthy and in great shape. They are not worried about what they eat as long as it tastes great to them. All they ever eat is fast food...it just hasn't caught up with them yet.

Because it's 'convenient'
Nobody wants to take the time to make their own food anymore, it's easier to just run through the drive through, throw down a few bucks and eat crap. And why the triple whopper instead of a single? Because overall US citizens eat far too much, and as such have enlarged stomachs, creating the need to continually eat too much, and leaving them seriously overweight.
It's quite sad really. Slow down people, make your own food. It's cheaper, tastes better, doesn't take that long, and you'll look and feel better too.

Well, BK starts you off with the Jr. Whopper. You eat them every day with fries until you get 'big'. Then you need two hands to handle the Whopper, and you figure it out - you move on to the Double Whopper. You are quite large now, maybe even obese. And you now crave the whopper. So, you take the leap of faith and get the Triple - Um, Um, Um, all that fat.

I think people should be able to order what they want, but i think it is disgusting that people even want super sized food. Just eating small protions makes me just feel sick and unhealthy.I hate when I order something and they are like ok you want that in large im like nooooooo i would have asked for it. They try to sell you ibgger sizes. I guess people just dont care about their health and they think that fast food is the fastest wayto eat since everyones in a hurry. You can make meals a head of time the night before and plan. People are dumb!!

It is a convienance and some people just don't care how the eat or how they are going to feel once all that fat gets into those arteries.
