Life sucks.

All your moment s of joy and all your happines are addicted to something. Do you call that a happy life.?

You are just not aware, Or you have became already, of that how eveything depends on pure survival.

You might be protected from it. Claim to the rest of your life that you loved someone, that your life was, basicly good. I will not pursuate you to think differently.

But, not everything is how it seems to be. Isn't it...

Now I need a comment on this, my own definition of life. At least, of this time we live trough...

Life is nothing else but a constant devastating of past illusions and building a new ones on the base of those which fell.

This is all an illusion. I'll always be aware of it.

This all a story from far far behind. I don't think of these illusions and bad stuff directly. That's impossible.
And about the happiens as the main goal, isn't it first suposed to be defined, such as it could be taken in many many ways. actually, life of a human is happiness itself. If we consider it as the purest state of humas being on earth, or just as a present from God(i'm a naturalist)

McAtterie. Your body lives in the reality. But YOU or any of us don't. You could taste the reality sometimes, butpirely no.

Your depressed, misanthropic view of life is heartening, which I mean without the sarcasm you might read that with. Here's my worthless tuppence on the matter.

Life does not suck. It stings or stabs and leaves you poisoned and inflamed. It's out to destroy you. If it would suck, some would find it pleasurable - now only the perverted and idiotic are happy while life eats away their innards. Everything does indeed depend on survival, on how motivated you are to live through the infinite torture on the way to the grave. No one is protected from that, some are however delusional enough to not notice. They're usually the ones that live longest, the good die young. Nothing is as it seems to be, nothing is black or white, nor do definitives and absolute terms exist. If you think positively, life will slowly but surely make you bitter - though the opposite direction is shut off. No weary men will ever be positive, unless they're robbed of their senses. Life is, as you said, a constant demolition of illusions, building hope than sending people crashing. Yet the positive note you ended upon is not true: it is not all an illusion. Illusions, hallucinations and dreams are the things we clutch onto, to survive. Like mythology and religion, the stuff our feeble kind needs to remain standing. But everything is real, and beyond us.

Should you however find this thought a prologue to suicide, think again. If you have no expectations, no hope and no clarity, life is yours to shape and abuse - and this is a decent enough passtime. Don't kill anything or anyone but time.

PS: The pretentious **** above me, who thinks to know where you are but has lost his own way completely, is an excellent example of the corruptable - isn't it fun to play with their puny minds.

It is always ironic that those of us who find life unsatisfactory, or confusing, seem to be the most well adjusted.
We all have our ways and means of making sense out of the world in which our lives take place. To feel at the mercy of the tides and the tribulations is to disengage for a while. To set oneself apart from the ebb and flow. But we can only do this for so long, soon we will be drawn back by hunger and thirst. The trick is not to feel unjustly separate, to accept that we each interrelate on more levels than we can comprehend.
My actions will affect countless generations in the future.
I am leaving a trail of destruction, or construction, in my wake.
As are you.
Happiness is the same illusion as standing inside a cloud, it is all around you, perhaps moving through you, but you cannot grasp it. This is why humans are foolish. We are like children, wishing to be entertained. In every pursuit, we try to validate our existence. We grasp at inconsequential nothingness, tomorrow it will all have gone.

To step outside of this cycle does not allow us to be seperate but it allows us the space to choose our responses with a much better perspective.

We are all just as tiny atoms bouncing off each other, but never ever believe we are inconsequential.

When you're addicted to something, you're not giving yourself 100% like you normally would be able to w/o any effort. It sucks the life right out of you. If you know you aren't "yourself" you have the power to change. Life's all about changing and growing into whomever you choose to be. You first have to love yourself...everything about yourself!!! You're only a failure when you give up and quit trying. Never stop learning and growing, when you do, you might as well be dead. Take life for what it is, not what you think it's supposed to be. Take it one day at a time, cause this moment is all we really have to live for, and if you're not doing something that makes you happy, only you have the power to change that situation. Take a look at yourself in the mirror. Are you happy with what you see? If you died today, would you feel satisfied with the life you've chosen for yourself? Or are there some positive changes you could make to better yourself? (I always feel there's room to grow-think optimistically)
To answer your question, I know who I am. At one time, I didn't because of some bad choices, but I pray hard and don't let that temptation back into my life anymore. I couldn't be happier. It's all like a big fog when I try to remember those not so positive times in my life, so I choose just to let them go. If it doesn't have a good outcome/result, quit doing it!!! Life isn't all that bad when you think happy thoughts NO MATTER WHAT it throws your way. Prayer has truly helped get me to this point. I will also pray for you. We are all God's children and with him by your side, you can't go wrong. I consider HIM to be my conscience. If my conscience tells me not to do something, I probably shouldn't do it...good luck in love and life sweetie!!! Keep your head up even if you don't pray.

The basic theorem of philosophy is that ultimate goal of man is happiness. Of course, it's never attained at a completely full-filling level, therefore inspiring all religions with theories of life after death or a heaven in which your happiness will be fulfilled.
I know who I am, I know what I want and I know how to get it...all of these three statements as most of the time and of course, open to change. One can't be dogmatic with one's self, or take yourself too seriously...That would really make life suck!!!

About life being an illusion. Well maybe it is, or maybe it isn't. it's up to personal perception. But if it is indeed an illusion, it doesn't have to suck at it. For example, when you go on a ride at Disneyland, it's all an illusion, but you have fun with it, right? I mean, there's not really pirates and cannonballs in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride...But you enjoy it, you have a few laughs, a few thrills...So basically my thought would be; Hell, if life's an illusion, enjoy the ride!!!

PS. Pick up a copy of Herman Hesse's "Steppenwolf". It totally communes with your ideals.

Yes, life is an illusion and impermanent, but not for all, you can make it useful, do something better than what we are doing commonly, try to capture a permanent place in some hearts, that will make the life a bit meaningful, and you will feel a self satisfaction and happy whenever you see something what you have done for the society..

We are all living an illusion. Life is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors. But I never questioned my existence to the point I get depressed. STOP smokin, or shootin that sh*t, get out the house and off the f#cking internet and start enjoying this grand and elaborate parlor trick that has been provided for our entertainment.

I think I know who I am but the problem is I am always changing ... like right now I am going back to night school and trying to change careers.... so I feel like I am becoming a whole new person. And my goals constantly change as well, I didn't want the same things I did 5 years ago.
But I don't believe life sucks.. I think it's hard but it's what you make of it.

I know who I am, exactly.
I am.
I am one of many.
I am His fullness.
I am thankful, praise be to God!

Here is a poem I wrote which sort of sums up where you are now.
I was there.

My Life

I lived in an illusion
mass confusion
day by day
I'd find a new way
to cope.
Now
me head tells me
listen to your heart
which whispers................
If for a moment
I could speak
then I would say
choice words of few
spoken only for you
and your love.
That is how I live today.
Tomorrow's there
with yesterday
I learned to live
in silence,
in peace.

I hope this can help you.
It helps to know there's someone there.
I feel your pain.

I send you peace, joy, and love.
