not being able to see what you are trying to do kinda puts a damper on advice... covering it with paper might make it look really cheap.. have you thought of just replacing the door yourself? cabinet doors are really not hard to do... just wood and trim and hardware... put it all together sand and stain and varnish and you got it... depending on where it is you could even do something a little different and make it a display cabinet with a wood fram around glass... if its not in a good area for a display cabinet change out a door with one that would work better ... good luck

Do you mean that you are going to use a wallpaper that has a wood pattern to cover your cabinet door? My guess would be that Contact paper is the only one with a wood grain, and it's sold in sticky backed adhesive patterns.

Most hardware stores carry at least a limited selection of this stuff. You may check their web site to see if they manufacture a pattern you want to use, and then ask your local hardware store to order it for you.

It's not going to be an exact match, I'm sure. Perhaps you should consider replacing that door entirely, or painting it?

Good luck!

Not knowing what style of door you have, I will simply recommend checking with Rockler woodworker's supply... they will sell you a single door, unfinished.... and you can then take an existing door to a store, and get a stain, and topcoat to match. This is something you can easily do yourself. Im providing the link to Rocklers cabinet door products... but take the time to browse the rest of the site.. they also carry a lot of finishes themselves.

Good Luck!
