The CHARACTER Dewey on Malcolm in the Middle - I'm wondering if the CHARACTER's nickname is Dewey and if so what is the name the FICTIONAL PARENTS on Malcolm in the Middle gave him before calling him Dewey. I do not want the actor's name, I just want to know if the CHARACTER'S name is actually Dewey or if it is a nickname. And if you know the CHARACTER'S real name on the SHOW, that would be great.

dewey is his real name on the show, if it is a nickname....they havent mentioned that on any of the episodes yet.

It has to be a nick name, who names thier kid Dewwy. I amgoing to miss that show.. I really loved it. I liked all the characters including the mean grandmother. I watch the re-runs on channel 9 at midnight!!
So sad to see that show go!!
