You cannot pick a height you'd like to be. Height is genetically programmed. Good nutrition helps in achieving maximum potential for body growth. Exercise doesn't hurt this either.
Although you may have attained most of your height now, it is possible that you might grow up to an inch more by your early 20s. Bear in mind that this is only a possiblity. There is a strong chance you've already reached your maximum height. To hope to be 6'1" is unrealistic but stranger things have happened.
For any of us to say absolutely you have finished growing is also unrealistic. We cannot know this. You'll have to eat well, live well and wait and see how this turns out. Don't find yourself obssessed about it -- better to be a terrific man than a tall one.

My son and brother-in-law both grew a bit taller after they were 18. When my son was in school he usually was put in the front row for group pictures. When he got his driver's license he looked like a little kid sitting behind the steering wheel. He grew 4"to 6" between his Jr and Sr year in high school to be about 5'10". After high school he grew some more and is now slightly over 6'. His dad is 5'10" and I am 5'2". Growing up he was quite a bit shorter than his brother that is only 17 months older. He now is taller than his brother and father. You could check with your Doctor to see if diet and exercise would help, but I think it's your genes that determines your height. Is there a particular reason for wanting to be 6'1"? 5'11" is not considered to be short for a man. There a many men in the 5'7"-5'10" range, so you are already taller than many!

You might still have that extra 2 inches in you, do you have other relatives that are taller? A lot depends on genetics and when you started your growth spurt some guys start around 8th grade, some later. However, don't be dissappointed if you don't get taller. the average height for a guy is 5'10 so you have beat the odds.

You might grow an inch taller, but it is not certain. Most of your skeletal growth stops by 18. Don't worry 5'11" is a decent height

I believe it depends on being male, or female, and when
did you reach the height of 5'11"? Is there any height in
Aunts or Uncles, Grandparents etc.
Check out your history with your family. The height you are
now is very good!
Good luck.

Yes, you've stopped growing. 18 is usually where it ends. Why do you wanna be that tall anyway?
