Yes I think Hollywood is just trying to capitalize off of a horrible tragedy and tat it is still too fresh in the minds of the people who lost loved ones. As for some of the others on hear who said five years is enough time- would you guys like your most horrible moment either from being in those buildings that day or by losing someone, to be put on the big screen and re-live it over and over? I understand the documentaries, but this is a reenactment of some very emotional, disturbing and heartbreaking moments that I feel they have already gone through once and even if they choose not to see the movie it's still there their private hell for all the world to see.I saw enough suffering that day I don't want to see it again.

Yes... I'm not sure what the value of this sort of movie is...Mr stone certainly thought it was a good idea. but it won't heal any wounds or bring closure to people still suffering due to loss of family..
And is it suppose to be a docu- drama or actual entertainment???
the line here is blurry.
And whats the point in revisiting a mass murder scene.?
It's as bad as all that TV crap like CSI, or bones, or criminal mind etc...is that what America sees as entertaining...?
Kind of depressing....What kind of mentality gets into this sort of thing...If violence or the aftermath of violent behavior is entertaining, perhaps we should begin holding to the death Gladiatorial games on public TV. This way at least it will be real and what people want to see.

No, as humans we tend to forget so easily. As a nation we need to remember those whose lives were forever changed. AND to remember that we were attacked on our homeland, by people who do not care for anything except themselves! Nor do they fight fairly or with any form of warfare ethics. They deceive, lie and cheat to attain their goal. Which is to punish the US. The reason may vary from group to group but their actions are the same. Freedom means to have choices, regardless if another culture or people agree to that way of freedom. This is what makes our Country so great. I am grateful for our freedom. Things are not prefect nor are all the "issues" agreed upon, but if your Buddhist, Catholic or Christian or have no belief of any kind we all GET a choice and THAT's what being an American is all about. We need to fight to maintain our luxury.

for trying to make money off of it, no its not too soon, its actually a good time. but for people in general, yes it is too soon. if they are trying to make people realize and remember what happened, they could just show documentaries on the discovery channel or something. oliver stone said he is targeting it towards younger people who may not know what happened. how about teachers talking about it that day in school? there is no need to make a movie, that is going to evoke a lot of bad feelings. thats like if schindler's list was made 5 years after the holocaust. no one would want to watch that.

NO !!!
People need to be reminded that there are terrorists among us, and are still trying to get in the US,and the extremes that they will go to to harm us.We need to NEVER forget what happened on that day !
It seems like too many people have forgotten 9-11 already. I think this is a perfect time, especially after what happened in Great Britain. Thanks to Pakistan, it was fouled up due to some very watchful people. We need to be thanking them for helping to spoil the plot of " would be terrorists ".

no. The pain will never go away... It's good to be informed for the people who really don't understand still.
I saw the plane dive into the building live...I was ditching school with my boyfriend and I told him to turn this fake crap off...
When he told me that what I saw was live and happening in New York...I couldn't believe it I thought i was watching an action movie... I went back to school cause if we had a terrorist attack in LA and something happened to me I would want to be were I was suppose to be at school....

Yes. They should just leave that subject alone. They over did it with the news casting of it. All day and night, with Flight 92 and now this is too much. I'm not saying what happened wasn't significant or important but this is just opening up old wounds. Let bygones be bygones.

In my opinion, they should not ever make a film for the world trade center. It is very painful for many people and for our country.

No. I think that people do not realize what happened and to what extent. I believe that this is a good time for people to understand what terrorism can really do even though they may not have been directly involved.
