To cherish anything in this world is to be attached to a desired result. One inescapable thing in this world is change. So no matter what you cherish, it will either be taken from you or deteriorate. I guess that's just human nature.
The thing I cherish most is truth, perhaps because it is so rare that we doubt whether it truly exists.

I cherish my husband and kids more then anything in this world, but I don't own them! So if I had to pick something material that I cherish, it would be my beautiful Sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet that my husband got me for Christmas last year.

Material things? My pets - though oft times, it is more like they own me! That and my crystal collection - so beautiful to look at and I love the energies they give off when I hold them. Very soothing.
