i read her book and she denied that she ever was, but everywhere on TV it said that she was. does anybody knew the truth?

Yes, she absolutely was when she was 15 years old. Her mother made her get an annulment immediately, which in the eyes of the courts and God makes her "never married".
I can't reveal how I know, but trust me, I know.

She was married to r kelly but it was voided cuz she wasn't of age. Maybe she said she didn't to avoid the rumors of him sleeping with young girls. i think if her name was put in the middle of the whole thing then it probaby would ruin her ruputation.
