Adnan, correct me if I am wrong.
Muslims are delighted and very hospitable to any person wanting to know about Islam.....
Muslims have a SACRED DUTY to purge fitnah from the world. Sayyid Qutb, an Islamic scholar, writes that the world would be a utopia under Islamic theocracy. Islam is a political as well as a religious system.
Qur'an Surah Al-Anfãl 8:39
So fight them (unbelievers) until there is no more fitnah (disbelief or worship of any god but Allah) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world) ... And fight with them until there is no more fitnah and religion should be ONLY for Allah
Waqatiloohum hatta la takoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahi fa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun
Allah commands deeds of terror by the believers against the unbelievers as the means of creating the emotion of terror in their hearts. The only reason needed for action is that "they resisted Allah and His Messenger". Such an approach to "conflict management" is nothing to be ashamed about according to Islamic understanding, but it is a basis for pride. According to Islam, it is one reason for the superiority of Muhammad over all other prophets.
It is EVERY Muslim's SACRED DUTY to fight in the jihad/qitl fee sybil Allah. (struggle/killing in the cause of Allah)
Qur'an Surah al-Hujurat 49:15
Mumim (true Muslims) believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and without doubt they strive in the cause of Allah (jihad fee Sybil Allah) with their WEALTH and their lives. Those! They are the sincere.
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of God with their goods and their persons. God hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath God promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward, (Yusuf Ali trans.)
Innama almu/minoona allatheena amanoo biAllahi warasoolihi thumma lam yartaboo wajahadoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi ola-ika humu alssadiqoona

My best friend at school was a Muslim, I could never think about Muslims as a group because I would think of her and I would once again see everyone as an individual. There are some Muslims who refuse to intergrate, learn local language and customs etc who will never be part of their whole community. If you dont like the way the country you are living in is run you vote in a new government or you leave, you dont kill people. The Muslims who dont like this country should leave. Muslims who are part of this country should stay. Unfortunately it is being made harder and harder for the "good" Muslims to stay because the more atrocities are carried out in the name of their religion by a sick and twisted minority the more synonymous the word "muslim" and "terrorist" becomes in the mind of the non-muslim public. Leading to more non-intergration. No grouping of people by class, age, skin tone, religion, etc will ever manage to show a type of personality for that grouping, everyone is an individual, racism doesnt make sense.

No, I'm not. I hope that I never begin to assume that everyone from a certain culture, religion, etc. is exactly the same. I know there are all kinds of jerks. I have met too many wonderful people of all backgrounds to group everyone together. P.S. Is "Muslim" a "race"? I thought a muslim is someone who is of Islamic faith. If so, then your question should use the word prejudice, not racist. I may be wrong though.

If by Muslims you mean middle Eastern people, then NO. If by Muslims you mean Muslims that are fanatical about Islam then Yes, very much so. Because I know that allot of them hate the UK, even the ones that are born here and I even spoke to ones who said their eventual aim is to take over the Government and turn the UK into an Islamic state. By "take over" I mean populate the country so there are more Muslims than any other people.
Muslims are very racist. They are rascist not only towards white british but seeks, hindus and practicaly anyone who is not a muslim.

honestly yes... Not only because of terrorism, but also because I have known a few throughout my school years and they all believed they were superior to everyone else. It just pisses me off that they say such awful things about Christians, if we are so awful, don't come to america, stay where you were born and stop being jerks.
And to SOMEDUMBAMERICAN maybe I should clarify. I don't like muslims, they are racist and believe themselves superior as hitler did. Would you have been happy if the US and other countries didn't eradicate the "superior" race that started the holocaust. And if by "invade" you mean that we went to free people who were being tortured for no reason by a corrupt dictator, then I'm glad we "invaded" them. I know if I were being tortured by my dictator and being held down and not allowed to rebel then I would want to be freed, even if it meant no democracy. But I hope you have an opportunity to be dipped in acid for some stupid comment you make, and let me know how you like it.

No, not at all. But I wish to bring it to your notice that a good percentage of Muslims support terrorism. They blast trans and kill innocent people, they kill innocents Hindus in Kashmir as they don't want Hindus there, they always against other religions. If you go through history you can find out that most of the Muslim kings or sultans destroyed other religions worshiping cent res, looted them and punish them as they are not Muslims. Some Muslims kings punished other religious people with tax. Till now a good percentage of Muslims are fanatics and they don't even ready to know other religion. Most of them are semi literate or illiterate. A county with eighty seven percentage of Hindus elected a Muslim as their president, a Sikh as their prime minister, support a Christian as the largest political party leader, supporting or casting Muslim hero's in films when the producers are Hindus. Where you can find such broad minded people in the world. Even there some Muslim groups support Pakistan and the spoil and destroy peaceful life of the people. I am not against Muslims but as per my experience most of the Muslims are fanatics and brainless. They don't know anything about their country, their own culture and other religion. Educated Muslims should come forward and change the situation immediately otherwise the time will teach them the lesson.

No, Cos I'm sensible and intelligent enough to realise that the people casuing the problems like terrorism are not the majority but a extremist minority with means and a loud voice.
So odds are the next muslim I meet is not intent on blowing me up just cos some others with warped spiritual views are. I mean come on! the ratio of extremists to normal muslims is very small (i.e. much less extremists that normal muslims)

Not in the least . Being against terrorism has nothing to do with race. I sympathize with the majority from the Middle East who just want to live in peace and happiness . Extremists have also caused much suffering for their own people , who are sometimes discriminated against for the sins of others . I go out of my way to be friendly to those Middle Easterners who innocently bear the brunt of what terrorists are doing .I hope they realize that remarks made in ignorance , do not represent an entire population .

As much as I hate to say it....slightly, yes.
I have never been prejudice again any particular group, as I feel it is really shallow and within any 'group' there are nice people, nasty people, people you would get on with, people you wouldn't etc so it is important to get to know individuals before making a slur on them for a particular trait/belief/colour etc.
However with all the recent goings on and media attention, I am starting to find it harder to get to know Muslims. I also belief they do not try to integrate into our society. I'm not saying change your beliefs, just respect you are in a country whose beliefs are different and respect them. They tend to have friends who are all Muslims, whereas I think the majority of Brits have friends who are a variety of religions and ethnic origins. I also think British Muslims could do more against terrorism, it is rare to see influential members of the Muslim community denounce the attacks and the perpetrators.

Of course not. Racist is a very strong word which should not be so lightly used. And you can not be "racist" towards someone. The word racist is not a verb, but an adjective to describe someone. I am all for killing fanatical Muslims who want to kill me though if that's your question.

Quite the opposite. I am starting to see why that they are fighting to be free of American control and the right to keep their values and not have beliefs and a system of government forced on them that they don't want. I worked in Afghanistan for some time and while I think they appriciated having the NATO forces provide some stability but I don't think they all loved having western values forced on them. I am not talking about the maltreatment of women, that is wrong by any religion but their right to evolve slowly and not have soldiers bully them around.
I think a lot of Middle Eastern countries are sick of being called terrorist because they don't believe in democracy. So Kuwuit and the UAE are doing pretty good as is.
