Because most of them are wealthy, and as long as they have theirs, they don't care about anyone else.

Let's see. I'm a Republican and a Christian and I would not be content to watch my children starve to death or go without health care. This next statement may make you mad but here it is: A person can only do so much to help someone else be capable and responsible of taking care of their own children. The best most of us can do is take care of our own.

Because it's more profitable to start wars for money and oil and to take the lives of so many civilians and soldiers in the process. Because our Nation has no time to care about it's poor, or the health of the poor. They are too busy buying and making weaponry, and spending money to finance their illustrious "War on terror", that is sadly, and truly unable to be won. Ooops, weaponry...my bad, I was just over there 3 years ago, and they couldn't even spare the funds to up armor all of our humvees, despite the fact we were in a combat zone getting blasted on day and night. We lost 3 trucks in one night due to .25 mm fire!!Ooops, I almost forgot they couldn't spare the funds to see that their troops, ALL their troops, had proper equipment. So, go figure.

Maybe they use most of the money the tax us to death with to wipe their behinds after using the crapper, so they can laugh when they see the homeless on OUR American streets starving and suffering, and ill. I think it expands beyond Christian republicans, and I don't think any true Christian would have a hand in the government of the United states. I think them saying they are Christians is just lip service. They are all evil. Every last one of them. Possibly not even human.

Tell me how many American children you have personally seen starving or going without health care?. Why do you falsely point out Republicans and Christians as the cause?

In Memphis, Tennessee, it is St. Jude's hospital that helps all children regardless of ability to pay. In St. Louis, Missouri, it is Cardinal Glennon Childrens' hospital, and several food pantries are provided by Christians. Open your eyes and see the facts.

I seriously do not think any God fearing person is content with that. But what would you like people to do to fix this problem? I see kind acts that people do all the time but we are all only human. "Republican Christian" whats that, a title. People of ALL religious beliefs, nationalities and backgrounds do good and bad things. Being "religious" does not make you "perfect". So as you take time out of YOUR day to criticize, are you also doing something yourself to help someone? Its a big world out there and you probably dont have to look too far for someone in need yourself !!!!

I am not aware of any American children starving to death. If there are, it is not the fault of Christians, be they Republican or Democrat. It is the fault of uncaring parents of the children, whether it be through not using public available services, or private church funds and services. I suspect these parents who allow their children to be in dire straits are mostly drug users or other decrepit criminal types, or are just too ignorant of the means that are available.
