The man has no option as to whether or not he keeps a child or aborts so he has no 'obligation' to pay for it, right? Cos we don't believe in slavery and forced 'obligations' without rights is slavery.

Are you the father or the mother? Are you in need of financial help to get and abortion? Being forced to keep the baby is not any ones business except yours

1) In many states the father can get an emergency hearing and stop the mother from aborting the fetus.
2) The father had rights, he had the right to use protection, he had the right to not have sex, he had the right to chose a different woman.
3) I have never heard a case where the father HAD to pay for the operation. More often I hear of cases where the father pressures the mother into getting it and then pays.
4) We deal with forced obligations every day. They are called laws, nothing to with slavery.

Unless you're talking about a woman raping a man, the man does have the option. He has the option of whether or not to have unprotected sex with a woman he either doesn't know at all, or knows may well not want to have a child at this point in her life. If he chooses to make a baby, with a woman who chooses to have a baby, he has an obligation to support a baby.

by using fact abortion is a medical technique completed on a woman's physique. the guy has no say approximately that anymore then he'd have a say approximately regardless of if or not she had her appendix out or if she donated a kidney. EDIT: the different answer isn't superb suited, a guy can't in simple terms sign away his rights to ward off paying toddler help.

I am a male. And i say if you feel so strongly about it then use protection or stop having sex with women as you are only being selfish and self centred.think before you act as a child has no say in who the parents are going to be so give that a thought and who in their right mind would want to play god and abort a ntiny life that never got asked if it wanted to be.children should be a joy not some sort of money making idea.i feel if you help produce a child you should step up and face reality and accept what you have helped create.

You had a choice in whether you slept with someone or not.. just because you can't choose to end a life doesn't mean if that life continues you aren't responsible. You choose to participate in an activity that could produce progeny and therefore obligated yourself if a life resulted from that act. Don't want to be responsible then get fixed or abstain from sex... your choice.

You have control on knocking a woman up. If you plant the seed and she uses it then both of you have an obligation to care for the results. Either put it up for adoption or pay for it. Think before you go stuffing those babes.

You do make a good point, but you also should have thought about that before you had unprotected sex. With all the contraceptives out there there is no reason to be that irresponsible. You are an adult and with being an adult comes responsibility. You play you pay.

He does have a choice. Wear a condom. Pull out. That's your choice buddy. You make a baby, you pay for the baby. Otherwise bag your sh*t and you wont have to worry about it. You dont get to feel a women without a rubber and then decide its her fault because she doesn't want to get an abortion. For god sake guys, start taking some responsibility for your lives. Damn.

Wrong answer!

You had the option to have sex or not, so you made a choice to deal with the consequences and outcomes of your actions---whatever they may be---when doing so.
