My mother in law drives me crazy, and she lives down the street. Makes me wanna move! LOL My father in law lives 2 hours away so he isn't a prob. My hubby doesn't really have to worry about in laws because my parents live in a different state. Anyway, who else was in laws that just drive you crazy?

You aren't alone in that craziness. My mother in law is 250 miles away and still drives me nuts at times....via phone.

I think mine just needs someone to talk to... once she has nearly talked out everyone where she lives, that is when she calls me. She just lost her husband in May and hasn't called nearly as much since then but I think it has a lot to do with loneliness on my part.

My husband is FAR from being a momma's boy.... he barely talks to her and when he does, she doesn't listen to him. She thinks everything is "all about her"...always has been that way but we do try to make allowances for her since both my parents are gone and she's the only one left.

Just think.. one day you won't have to listen to her at all but yeah lock the doors... take time away from the outside world.

Why not kill her with kindness. Make her feel guilty by showing her how undeserving her son is of a fine babe like you. You can drive her away with little things that you know get on her nerves and keep the hubby from catching on . It will also help to set limits on things with her and let her know her son now belongs to you. Thanks for letting him get old enough to catch me but now its time to let him go and get on with your life and let us work things out for ourselves.
