Some home pregnancy tests can't tell in the early stages, so it depends.
Any sex without the use of birth control (even if it was for only a few moments) can lead to pregnancy. Sperm is in the early ejaculate that beads out during intercourse.
Stressing out about being late could also CAUSE you to be late. So relax a little, wait a week. If nothing, take another hpt, see what happens. If still neg and you still haven't had your cycle, then see a doctor. Their tests are more accurate, plus if it isn't a pregnancy causing your cycle to alter, it could be the sign of another issue.
Take care of yourself, and hope this helps hon! Good luck!

I was on the pill and my husband was using condoms with spermicide but I still wound up pregnant. Nothing is 100% effective, I think you should see your OB/Gyn as soon as possible. Also you should probably see about a different type of birth control due to the fact that Depo Provera has been shown to cause a loss of bone mineral density. Your Doctor can do a risk/benefit analysis to see if another birth control option would be better.

Depends on what day you had intercourse. If you know EXACTLY the first day of your last period, count 11 days forward from that day. This is the day of ovulation. Did you have intercourse on this day (yes or no, amount of penetration does'nt matter as sperm can travel long distances), or the day before as sperm can stay alive for a period of hours in the right conditions? If so, it is possible you could be pregnant. I would'nt worry too much if you have been on depo, it generally takes a long time to begin ovulating again (even if your period has returned).

I would give it another week before I get another home pregnancy test done. If you don't have a period by then and still turn up negative on the pregnancy test at home then I would go to your local doctor.I would ask for a pregnancy test by him and he even will send you for a blood test will could possibly show that you are pregnant.

I would say that you should go to the dr and get a pregnancy test. If it comes back negative and your period does not come then you might need a blood test.
