I recently asked a teething question. My daughter was getting 4 teeth at once and was in so much pain. This was suggested to me, and it really works great!!! Give him some tylenol, teething tablets, and baby orajel before bed, or during the day if he's in a lot of pain. At night to help calm him down you can mix a tiny bit of chamomile tea with juice and put it in his infant cereal, if he is eating cereal. The baby orajel, tylenol, and teething tablets work great!

Depends on how old your baby is. Advil shouldn't be given to an infant until he/she is at least 6 months old. Tylenol is fine, but not ibuprofen. After six months, ibuprofen is the pain releiver of choice for infants/babies.
To answer your question, yes...I have two boys, and on more than one occasion I've given them Tylenol or Advil for teething pain. My younger son (13 months now) is getting his first set of molars, and I gave him some Advil last night.
I wouldn't give it to a baby for days on end...that can damage their liver, but once in a while (during especially bad teething periods) it's fine.

I have used humphrey's teething tablets since my daughter was 4 months old, now 17 months. They are all natural and holistic. I can give those too her and she calms right down, there have been some nights I had to give her tylenol, when she was cutting her molars but rather then that I've only used the teething tablets. You can find them at walgreens or online. I just give them to her whole, they also come in a dissolvable strip, good luck!

DO NOT GIVE ANY INFANT UNDER SIX MONTHS OLD IBURPROFEN!!! But infant tylenol or baby orajel are perfectly safe. There are almost no side effects. If you are not comfortable with medicine try teethers, cold washrag (let the baby chew on it)
homeopathic remedys sold at Walmart. Email me for more answers

No I wouldn't, I would consider giving the baby cereal in its milk so the baby will sleep better. I wouldn't ever give my baby and medicine. Because, remind yourself this, every person is different. The baby could be allergic to Advil, you never know. And I would really hate for my baby to have a reaction because it was teething.

I would use Infants Tylenol instead. Also you could use the baby Orajel. I wouldn't use the Infants Ibuprophen until they were older.

I would give the infant Tempra at bedtime to help sleep, but just some baby orajel on the gums during the day.

our dr. said to not give advil or motrin until they are older. he recommends tylonal. we did give our baby (and still do) tylonal and orajel and we tried the teething tablets by hyland's. you will try anything to help your baby when they are hurting. just make sure with your dr. what dose he recommends and any drug interactions you should be aware of. good luck!

The best thing to do for a child that is teething I found is baby orajel and a little bit of tylenol. but they are going to be fussy and cranky and we just have to go through that stage with them.

I wouldn't give him Advil - baby or not. Orajel works just fine and won't stress his liver and kidneys.
READ ALL PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
If in doubt - ask your kid's doctor.
