Of two evils - choose neither! What about a world community with all represented equally? Where there is no room for tribal interest that ignores the welfare of the whole.

This tribal mentality is certain to make the science fiction scenario of war of the worlds come true - provided we successfully colonize outer space with only a tribal interest rather than a world united one.

I hope by some measure you will see just how primitive we are as a planet.

Would you want a smaller less powerful country to come up against the worlds worst terriorist organization the world has ever seen?
How did Americans get here? Immigrants, knowing that half the people on those ships wouldn't survive the trip. They faught and killed Indians as dispicable as that was it made them mean and tough. Even the black man, those slave ships with torture and only the strongest survived and then only the strongest was allowed to bred. The black man in America is without a doubt the strongest most powerful men in the world.
We are up against sucidial terriorists. There is no other country that can kick butt like Americans. Yet if you leave them alone they will leave you alone. I wouldn't want any other country to be more powerful. They could nuke the middle east and take their oil. Have been able to for a long time. But they didn't. The bought it. And if we are so terrible why does everyone want to come in here. If you don't like us, leave us alone. We are a nation of immigrants. Some of us are from the middle east.

US may claim itself to be a superpower but nobody cares or recognises it to be so! As for a real superpower, no one should have that kind of status. Every country is a superpower in its own right! But if US needs to be challenged, yes it will happen soon by the combined power of China-India-Russia league which cannot be challenged by US and Europe put together along with even Canada and Australia! In any case, if there is to be a superpower, it should be the UNITED NATIONS!

There should never ever be a world super power. I suppose in a perfect world, where every person was and could take responsibility for their own actions one would not be needed. However, I think the point that should be understood is, the world needs educating. We all really need to stop trying to tell each other that our way is better, or that you need to **** this or that way. Who says who is right. It is at the end of the day down to concience, and how you handle and live with it.

Would have the same problems, just a different country. As they say; " Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." So I don't wish the superpower on any of the truly good places.
