Neutrogena is great. They make skin clearing products, age defying products, and so many more. They have something for everyone!

Just use the Max Factor Pantone sticks. They're great & used on all the makeup commercials, regardless of brand.

Remember that Less is More. Only sponge apply the sticks to uneven areas of skin & smooth out.

The goal is to look natural, not like a corpse, or someone who's had too much plastics. If your makeup stands out, you overdid it.

I always think it's a good idea to have a photo taken after you've done your makeup. Keep a photo book of your shots. You will be able to see for yourself what worked & didn't work.

This is a slightly stupid question to ask. Everyone's going to have their own opinion, so you won't be able to get a straight answer, in fact, there is no right or wrong answer. Whatever works for you skin is the best. I do think that you shouldn't go with an all-natural company such as aveda because natural cleansers and things are a little too abrasive on the skin, so that's not exactly the right choice. I tend to like Mary Kay and Mabelline. You can get Mabelline at any drug store, and to find a Mary kay consutant, you can go to marykay.com and search for someone in your area.

I like the Lancome foundation I have right now. It's the ADAPTÎVE All-Day Skin-Balancing Makeup with SPF 10. It's a very light foundation that's good on combination skin. I'm Irish with very fair skin so my cheeks can get quite rosy at times (to the point of blotchiness) and it does a great job of toning down the redness to look like the rosy glow you'd see on "perfect" skin.

There are many good cosmetic lines out there, but only you can pick which one is right for you. You need to decide what skin type you are to decide weather you need a foundation for combination, dry, or oily skin. Then what color works, keep in mind that your color changes with the season. The color you need now may not work in December. Avon has an extensive line to choose from. They have for all skin types and colors at a low price. Mary Kay has a good variety too, but higher in price.
Good luck with you search.

Prescriptive they have tons of foundation color so you can find the best color fast and easy with their color printing which finds your undertones (some stores custom blends). if you wear studio fix PX just got a new foundation called anywhere and it is just the same but u can wear for 8hrs unlike studio fix where u can only wear for two. Also all of PX foundations are really light weight and has great color pallet and has just as much pigments as mac. but don't just take my word for it go to your nearest PX counter and get color printed and they should be able to give u a free foundation sample for you to take home and try. Hope you like PX as much as i do.

I think either Mac or Shiseido. But every line has some good/ some bad items.
I prefer foundation, brushes, eyeliners from Mac. Eyebrow kit, makeup base from Shiseido. Mascara from Maybelline or L'Oreal. As for lip, I try every brand! love glosses

Mary Kay has been #1 for 13 years now. You can have a free facial and have a color match done before you buy your foundation if you don't have a rep close to you, you can check out my site at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 an email me with any questions

I like the look and feel of Lancome products. Most makeup counters in upscale department stores will do a free mini makeup makeover or give out samples so you can try different products.....stay away from those cheaper store cosmetic lines...they all look cakey to me.

Right now I'm using bare minerals and am very happy. I just gave the website to another questioner, but here it is again...

I think that Lancome makes the best mascara and OPI makes the best polish; prescriptives for blusher and i haven't found a favorite for lip gloss.

I dont wear foundation but my mother and some friends use bare minerals and the look they have afterwards is amazing, it doesnt cause acne on them either and they say they don't feel it on their face.... it is a lil pricey but if you wear makeup on a daily basis then you should buy it
