home made fruit fly traps?

I need some ideas on how to kill friut flies maybe some home made traps, etc.

You can build a fly trap using a 20 oz soda bottle, a small cone of paper, and some bait (such as mushed up bananas or peaches).

Put the fruit into the bottle, and tape the cone of paper point down onto the mouth of the bottle. The cone should have a slightly larger than fly sized hole. Once the flies end up in the trap, you can pop it in the freezer and reuse it a couple of times, or throw it away.

Soda bottles with vinegar or brandy or liqueur.
