interesting, is it not, that people's avatars (mine and yours and everyone's) makes us all seem like young, hot, sexy people, when if we were to compare them to the real owner's picture, the shock is unparalleled. Does anyone other teens feel like this, that there is a false sense of attractiveness to this community?

Yeah, all of the avatar faces are young and sexy, when in reality not everyone looks like that. Our avatars are just the closest representation we can find of ourselves in the choices given. Personally, I'd prefer to have an avatar that looks more like the real me. It's not that much different...but, for example, there's only one kind of glasses that aren't sunglasses or something. I wear glasses, but they look nothing like my avatar's glasses. It's just the closest I can get.

I agree. For one thing, they don't have gray hair or a large build. I just made my avatar the way I looked fifty years ago.

Yeah, I noticed there are no "blue hair" avatars. Or ones with acne. Funny. Good observation.

Actually, I'm MUCH better looking than my avatar, but this is the closest to the "real me" it could get....

My goal is to look as close to my avatar as possible one day---only a few more (ha!) pounds to go, and several plastic surgeries, and I'll be there!!!

I don't agree. Aviators are just that aviators.........not meant to be replicas of ourselves, just cute pictures. Why is it such a big deal?
