actually no, Im a guy and even I know the answer. When your body get cold it shrinks, not very much but it does. And when you shave you cut the hair off at the skin surface. So when you get cold and your body shrinks the hair stays the same size and then sticks out of you skin, giving you the illusion that it grew. That why when you warm back up your legs dont feel prickly anymore.

Whenever I get cold my hair grows That is why I hate to shave in the winter.

Yes, god I hate that! My boyfriend is always touching my legs and i have to make sure there is no hair...But once goosebumps come hair is back!

No it does no longer make it strengthen faster. area of the hair shaft is below the pores and dermis. once you get goosebumps it with out hardship pushes extra of the hidden component out. it is a secure practices mechanism to help take care of you warm.

Yes, I can shave one minute and have nice smooth legs and then the next minute I am cold and prickly. I hate that!

ya, thats y i hate being in cold places, it ruins the purpose of just shaving!

in my experience, yes. i think its some sort of primal survival mechanism to keep you warm. pretty annoying though.
