Group interviews are tough. Lot's of different personalities in the room and only one you.

I suggest the following:

1. Find out what problem the firm is trying to solve by hiring someone into this position. Think about what you bring to the party that solves their needs and emphasize this capability in all your answers.
2. FInd out something about each of the interviwers such as what departments they work in, what they do, where they worked and try to figire what angle they will take when asking you questions.
3. Think of three things that you want the interviewers to remember when you leave the room. Answer every question with these three things. Of course, you come at it wih a different slant each time.
4. And don't forget to SMILE.

Good luck

I am like you. I am the best candidate but hopeless in group interviews. I never attend jobs that require a group interview because I know the interviewers will not be smart enough to take me. To choose on a group interviews shows already they are not smart.

Don't try to be what you imagine someone else wants you to be. Just be yourself and be an honest person

Who is to say that the employer is looking for a loud person?

As an ex-employer myself, I was looking for ability, honesty, diligence and personality, not necessarily in that order.

Good luck.

I would say that dressing well... standing up straight... as most people slouch now adays... making eye contact and answering questions without interrupting others... and asking questions. I have found most people like to think they are experts .. so if it makes sense to ask intelligent questions where they are able to talk about their career or their job people ususally remember you... the best advice i was ever given is to remember you have one mouth and two ears... use them accordingly !

You will have to overcome your quietness. People, especially on interview, like someone who is not afraid to ask questions, someone outgoing and with personality. You have to come out of your shell.
