You can say the same thing about Christian followers that believe in war...the believe in the "Prince of Peace" and yet they rally for war.

NOT ALL Muslims hate the world! It is very closed minded to think like that. Many, many people have been killed by Christians and Jews in the name of God. And Allah is just another name for the same God that other religions believe in. They all have their own take on that same God, but that doesn't mean that they are evil just because they are different from you. I'm not a Muslim. I'm agnostic, but I have respect for other people's beliefs. We all need to believe in something to help get us through this life. Have you ever read the Quran to see what it says? People hate and distrust what they don't understand. There are millions of Muslims in this world who live peacefully. Why should the actions of a few, define the identity of the masses. Do you think it is fair that because of some despicable American soldiers to an innocent Iraqi girl and her family, that their actions should be a reflection of you too? There is enough hate in this world. If someone upsets you and you want to retaliate - try to forgive and love them. That usually gets them steamed. :)

Unfortunately there are an extremely fanatic minority that are giving the moderates a bad name. Most Muslims just want to get on with their lives, but because of past "situations" there is still a lot of animosity towards Christians and America (which the extremists perceive as being Christian or Jewish). If we ever really want to end the war on terror, it will be the moderate Muslims that put a stop to the extremists. It is they who can do the most good in this effort by telling the extremists that they do not speak for God/Allah.

Because alot of the people who follow Allah see those who are different as a threat so they use the act of intimidation to try and sway people to their side and for those who don't yield they use hate and violence. Allah has nothing to do with this, the people who do hate are unfulfilled by Allah and are doomed to be unhappy for all time so they take it out on everyone saying that it is Allah when in fact they are delusional people bending Allah's teachings to their own hate.

If you read the Koran you'll realise that the believe is that only people who believe in Allah have peace.
Thus to Muslims there can only be peace if everyone believes in the god of peace, Allah.

You`re being Naive!!!!!! The majority of people that are Muslim do not hate this world or the U.S.!!!!! some groups do because they have been brain washed! People in the middle ages had the crusades because of similar reasons. an just to let you know! Muslims believe in the same god as Christians but just a different Messiah, they have some of the same prophets too!Also my neighbors are Muslims and they DO NOT hate the world.

Allah is [God] don't disrespect Islam,it's good to ask in order to know. i am a christian, all religion preach peace,at least to it's followers,but humans are different they tend to be over zealous,and jealous,they can't stand rivalry or competition,they are afraid they will lose converts,or faithfuls.so leader ask loyalists to cut down on competition.they introduce jihads and what have you.even Christians were once said to have introduced crusade against other religions.

You have been listening to some media too much. Allah was a prophet. The fundamental religion believes in the Christian and Jewish Bibles. Does your religion acknowledge the Koran.

SOME who believe in the word of Allah hate for the same reasons that SOME followers of Jesus, Jawah, the Buddha or the Flying Spaghetti Monster hate.
Humans, with their infinite capacity for self-delusion, try to twist the words of their god or prophet to justify their behaviors. And considering that hating is one of the things we humans do best, it shouldn't surprise anyone that fallible human beings use the words of their gods to get others to join them.
