I have no work experience. So, I decided to lie on my application about previous employment do you think employers really call the numbers to your previous jobs and ask if youve worked there?

IF THE COMPANY DOES A THOROUGH BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, YES THEY WILL FIND OUT. ALOT OF TIMES, SOME COMPANIES WILL DO THE BACKGROUND AFTER YOU ARE HIRED, OR IF THEY ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF YOU FOR WHATEVER REASON.

Depends on what type of job it is. If they ask for references, they are probably going to call those. I've never had an employer call a previous job and confirm that I worked there though. But in an interview, you could be asked questions about what you did at the previous job and your answers could give you away if you try to bluff.

You may not have formal work experience, but if you have babysat, mowed lawns or done any type of volunteer work that requires you to be responsible, include that under work experience.
It shows you have an understanding of being on time, customer service and other skills often required in the workplace.

Many do. Depends on the company and the type of job.

That is why companies have what are called back ground checks. That is also why they have human resources departments - to verify things that you say.

I'd be careful. If you do get hired and are found out, at a minimum you could be fired. You could face prosecution. You are lying about experience. Some people lie about education.

It is generally a bad idea to lie on you resume/job application. Many employers would check facts on your application.
Also during interview they would ask specific questions about your experience and you are likely to slip up.
Having said so, I interview people at times and have seen lies on their resumes. Some get caught and others don't. But if they catch a lie, you are definitely not going to get the job.

don't lie at all- but you proabaly actually have real experience your not thinking of-
have you been a member of something, worked on a long term project, been a skateboard fanatic for a long time etc?
If you can show how your able to be dedicated to projects that require - well, showing up for one, but use a skill, something that helps people- neighborhood perhaps, rake leaves, shovel snow, baby-sit, help parent at office, car wash, - something?
the employer probably knows your not an old timer with 20 years of work experience-
never lie, "enhance" if you must, but be able to back it up with out stammering-
yes- they do call on the app, it's helps to lower the risk, they don't want to hire someone who lies- then they will get ripped of by said person-

You are only lie to your self. Most emplyers do check in fact I do when interview new canidates for employment. If you lie and get caught you won't have ajob the best thing is to tell the truth. You may not get this job but you may get others. Be honest to yourself and your employer.

Some do, others don't have the time. I always say that the company that i was working for closed or went bankrupt. You can also put a friends name as a contact and tell that friend to help you out.

I suggest that you don't do so. Sometimes, we are forced to do something just to impress others but it might do you great trouble. Sometimes, the company may verify these information and could cause you being blacklisted into several companies. i suggest you tell the truth and just emphasize the fact that you are a fast learner and is very loyal to an organization you will be linked to. Just sell yourself with your capabilities and you can do good.

Hope to have helped!
