Strengthen. Those policies are the reason we foiled the plot. Even thought it was in England, the US had a hand in it.

Weaken it, for sure. It makes me wonder because I heard that they've known about this for months. So why wait until yesterday to throw everyone into a panic? I can't but feel that this may be partly an election year ploy. Sad to say but perhaps true. Scare everyone enough and maybe they'll keep the same people in there. Of course, maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age, too. :)
Also, it seems like we are more hated in the world at this time due to the policies of our president.

Chalk one up for the good guys. We just got lucky. No matter how much technology you have you can't stop every determined suicidal, martyrdom seeking, fanatical, jihadist from attaining his place in heaven while sending thousands of infidels to hell.
