Here goes. About 2 months ago, I started having stomach problems (irratic bowel movements, loose stools). Then came came on anxiety and stress (probably due to worrying about my stomach all of the time). I was able to calm my stomach down a little by eating plenty of yogurt everyday. Now I have a sinus infection and I believe the medicine I am taking is giving me diarrhea. All along the while I have been battling an ingrown toenail that has become infected. I was taking antibiotics to fight the infection and will be going back to get it cut out. Could the infection from my ingrown toenail be causing my health problems?

Thanks in advance.

Infection in any forms would cause your body to behave abnormally, but normally it shows up as fever. The fact that you are having loose stools and diarrhea could point to food poisoning; however, if you believe it is caused by medication, stop the medication.
Diets play a big part in stools and infection, I have found that eating more meat, would cause the immune system to be stronger(the chicken soup for the cold) and resistant to outside influence; however, too much, would cause the body system to create its own disease. Normally when I eat meat all week, with less veggies and fruits, my stools would come out harder and vice versa.
While helping your body with your diet, please sort your ingrown toenail as well.
