I understand why they would want to ban one of the states of matter, but shouldn't they ban things that could be used as detonators like cameras, phones, ipods, computers, and watches?
I don't know about you but I smell snakes on a plane.

Most of the components were not intentionally invented for the bombs they were intended for a good purpose. Einstein invented the components for the bomb not to blow people up but to give people free electricity. The people who enjoy war took it to the level of the bomb. Einstein asked himself 'What have I done?'

You're right, but if they did that the airline business would tank. People would flip out if they had to check their laptops.
