When you were little did you ever write a letter to Santa? How did it go?

Every year. My mom used to steal them out of the mailbox and get the neighbor to write responses for me, so I wouldn't recognize the handwriting.

My sisters and I did. Then on Christmas morning we would get a note from Santa next to the milk and cookies we left. My mom told us later after we knew Santa wasn't real that she wrote those notes with her left hand. I think it's a cute idea and I'm probably going to do that for my kids.
