About a week...you shouldn't be having sex for at least 6 weeks either

A week to 3 weeks depending on how good a healer you are! Mine always took a while.

Cold compresses with witch hazel are safe and VERY soothing as it heals. Even easier, you can buy some of those generic Walmart "hygeine cleansing pads" (like you would use for hemmorhoids). They are about $3 and come in a tub and are pre-moistened.

I'm pretty sure that it took about 2 weeks for the stitches to dissolve but I'm almost 100% positive that it took no longer than that.

Mine took about 2 weeks. If you have pain, you might also want to look into get these things called Tucks pads. They are very soothing, and much more forgiving to your tenderness from the stitches than toilet paper.

About a week. But you shouldn't be putting anything up there for an absolute minimum of two, though waiting four weeks is better. Give yourself plenty of time to heal.
