The letters cc refer to the total volume of the automobile engine, in terms of the space inside all its cylinders, in cubic centimetres.
A 50-100 cc engine would most likely be a single-cylindered one, usually that of a moped or a motor bike.

the capacity of the engine is expressed in cc ie cubic centimeters. the cc is the volume swept by the piston in its up and motion.cc is the volume of the cylinder plus the combustion chamber volume.the total volume can be divided into swept volume and the combustion chamber volume. the combustion chamber volume is the minimum volume of the cylinder when the piston reaches its top most positon.

The term cc is for cubic capacity.Normally automobiles engine capacity is measured in cc unit standard. This term has directly related to engine size, but has no relation to its engine power.Automobiless engine power is calculated and described in the term BHP.

It means that if placed in a water tank, all the pistons of an engine displace 50, 100, or whatever amount of liquid any set of pistons displace. It's one of the the ways engineers rate the size of an engine.

cc is for cubic centimeter, but 50 or 100 cc is a very small engine.
for example a 2.2 liter engine (like a Pontic Sunfire) is 2200 cc's.

cc denotes the displacement of an engine...........
cubic capacity i.e. max volume that engine cylinder can hold[air n fuel mixture]....an engine may have single or multiple sylinders.technically , it is the volume between T.D.C AND B.D.C.

Displacement is the total volume of air/gas mix an engine will use. Each cylinder has a diameter and the piston travels a specific length (stroke). You figure the volume of each cylinder's displacement (Pi X r X r X stroke) and multiply by the number of cylinders.
