I was told I had a month to pay for my stuff, the month is not even up yet. I have talked to one of the guys non stop and he said everything was good then this man keeps calling me and saying he is going to the police station to file, I am really confused. How many attemps do they or are they suposed to do before they do this? I dont have a problem paying but I dont get paid until this week coming up.so its hard until next week . I rented a fridge from rent a center,

They are in the business to take your money. Give them a written payment plan, have it approved in writing, keep a copy. They do not really want to turn a used fridge.

Pay the bill, communicate with them. For christ sakes don't avoid people because you have fear.
Bill collectors will be willing to work with you IF you talk to them about what is happening!! Simple. Call them arrange things as you are able.

Look at your contract. It will tell you when your payment is due by.

They are bluffing. Pay them when you have the money and don't worry about it.
