What, in your opinion, is the most pressing issue facing humanity today and why?
in other terms, what poses the greatest threat to society today? it can include anything from social issues, current events, environment, ideas, etc.

ethnocentrism
why do the richest nations of the world do so little to resolve the conflicts and problems of the majority of the world? Because they do not care about anybody that is not in their ethnic group.
the west is run by rich, white men - they see the rest of the world as a source of cheap labor. Just look at the WTO - the poor countries have become worse, not better, since this was passed. Who does it benefit? the rich white men who run the corporations.
Want another example - look at the ethnic killing in the Africa, caused by ethnocentrism itself, and allowed to happen because the west doesn't care about Africans.
A solution? Give every nation an equal say in the UN!

If anyone had the solution, do you think it would be listened to by the majority of people? The fact is that few people control way too many others and power corrupts. Minding your own business is so much more important than minding everyone elses' . If someone in your life was trying to control your every move and action, would you tolerate it? Why is it tolerated on a global scale?

Violence you see it in everyday life. A world full of people treating others like they do not have the same rights or privileges as others. You cant leave your windows open for fresh air in the evenings cause you cant be sure that someone will not brake in and hurt you and your family. You cant turn on the TV and watch the news without getting sick to your stomach about the things you hear. Crazy minds have done things I couldn't even dream about. Mothers killing there children and spending life in a home for insane. WTF I dont understand why someone who beats a child can get away with only one year in jail. We definitely need a better legal system.

war---we could all be wiped off the face of this earth, if world war 111 broke out. then we wouldn't have to be worried about any other social issues like AIDS, Diseases, Medical Care, Starvation, Education, Human Rights, etc.

On Porty should be say this world from pollution and cleanness in environment
Free from threats terrorism and war,food,shelter,cloths and healthy life for every body.The world will be very peace full when people can sleep good.
