I dont think it is money. Well this time in worldcup in Germany they went as favourites just cuz they won the last worldcup! I think b'cuz they got to over-confident. But on the other hand Barcelona is also one of the favourites. I think what matters is u play confidently and not get tooooooooo over confident. Maybe they were playing thier best but their opponent was also a gud team.

I take it you are asking why these players play so well for their league teams, but did not do so for Brazil in Germany.

Truthfully, Ronaldo never looks to be playing that well, until the ball's in the back of the net, at least from what little I've seen of him.

The main reason, however, maybe that they went into the World Cup as favorites. This seems to happen to Brazil every time they go into the finals as favorites, the team and it's stars don't perform to the level they are capable of. So, if the blame lies anywhere, perhaps it is in overconfidence.

If you had seen them play, and win, the last Copa America you would know that they can play as well for their country as they do for their league clubs... they just didn't do it at this years World Cup.

It's beside the money pt. They probably play better because they are usually the superstar of their team. But when working with a WHOLE bunch of superstars in World Cup...I guess teamwork kind of died.

I know why! Because League football is league football. World Cup is the Word cup, the wc is made up of the best players in the world it is very hard to shine in the WORLD STAGE then in league football, for this reason the brazil players had trouble they faced players/teams that felt beat before the game started so they played for dear life(in wc) brazil couldent shine because of these. League football is made of good players, and better players, but wc is only World class players! its harder to look good against players of that level even if your a great player.

no, its not the money....these clubs that they play for consist of the best players in the world. on national teams, some players arent at the same level as others....lets face it, not all the players are fabulous!

a team is only really as good as their worst player and clubs usually consist of really good players from around the world...so if your "worst" player is amazing, the team as a whole will be amazing.

on a team where some players just arent as good, the better players are constantly trying to make up for their mistakes, which makes them look not as good as they really are.

i dont know if that makes sense to anyone (it makes sense in my head...haha).
