The fishermen you refer to are healthier because fishing is hard work and they get a good workout doing it. Which is more than you can say for most of the other people.

Fishermen are likely statistically healthier because they lead a very much more active lifestyle. Drinking seawater is never a good idea...not only because of the salt but because of heavy metals and polutants that are in it.

I heard is not good for you because of the salt content. Salt makes you dehydrated so makes want more water. That is why people who get stranded at sea die very quickly from drinking the water.

drinking water is always is good for health. its natural cure. i used to drink 4 to 8 glasses of water in the morning soon after getting from bed. it reduces constipation. it purifies the inner parts of body as showers or bathing to the outer body. the glow of skin increases. we will be healthy. probably not. Sea water would have a lot of salt and that is not generally good for blood pressure.
Normal water would be better.
