Although it would be tempting to go into the past and change mistakes I have made,it would alter the here and now..and I have 3 wonderful kids and 10 fantastic grandkids..to go into the future I have no desire to do ..so for me I am living in the present and loving it. When Life gets too hectic or stressful I just step back for awhile and regroup by doing meditation and spiritual practices. I would not be who I am today without the lessons learned from the past! I just try to Keep my life as simple as possible and refuse to be encombered with too many possessions or demands that are not what I want in my life.

Well, there is no since of going back to the past. You can't experience the future without learning the lessons of today. Therefore, I'd rather stay in the present.

The present AND the future. I know what happened in the past, and I know what's happening in the present. But the future is sill "unexplored". It's what we do with the present that will shape the future. I want to be in on the shaping, and I want to see how that changes things.

I strive always to live in the present because this is the only time I have. The past is gone, the future is not guaranteed to us in this world so the present (God's gift to us each day) is where I try to always be.

If also having the option of keeping my memory, I would choose the past, because then I could pretend like I wrote all these cool songs and come up with all these cool ideas, but they would be other people's thoughts in the future. Know-whatti-mean?

You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future.

Within your own life, or just within human history -- two different answers.

Within my own life, I would live in the past, so I could fix a few key mistakes I've made in life.

In human history, I'd love to check out the future. See where things are going, since I've pretty much gotten a handle on where things are and where they've been.
