Well, although he does show how he can do the levitation trick in the second video it is quite obvious that three of the segments in the first video were done with wires. David Blaine did an even worse fake where he did the Balducci Lift which gets you about 2" and depends on a careful angle so that they don't see your other foot. Then they cut in a part where he was lifted more than a foot with wires to fake amazement by onlookers. At least the box step is a pretty good trick. It's too bad Chris spoils it by adding the fake wire lifts. Obviously, when the person is lifted with wires the reaction of the audience is completely fake since the lifting gear would be visible above the person.
I could tell you how Chris Angel did several of his magic tricks. For example, there is one episode where he magically made the image of a woman appear after someone from the audience picked this picture at random from a group of pictures. Then even more amazingly he has the actual woman there. The person in the audience was a plant and picked the woman who been pre-arranged.
Chris' wall walking stunt was really pathetic because he actually had to stop the video and skip ahead so that he could get over an overhang without it looking too fake. He showed another segment where he walks up a wall and then down. However, you notice that he doesn't show where he starts and stops. He starts already on the wall and walks up and stops. Then is already facing down and walks down the wall and stops. Although there is the suggestion that onlookers would be amazed by this they, in fact, would be able to see the wire gear.
The one where he passes through a solid sheet of glass was fairly straightforward. The shop owner and the two audience assistants were plants to help him with the trick. The paper in the trash was also a plant but nicely wrinkled so that it looked like it could have just been there. There was a pane of glass that slides up and down like a car door window. The lower part which was covered by the wall had a hole in it. After the paper was covering the window that section of glass slid up to line up the hole with the paper. Chris carefully squeezed out through the hole and the torn paper. Then this section was slide down again. The "shop owner" wasn't there to make sure that Chris didn't do anything, he was there to assist with the trick and probably operated the glass. The two seemingly random audience members were part of his crew to make sure that the hole stayed covered.
His signature metamorphosis switching with the person on top of the box trick was interesting. The way that he did it so fast was the key. Most magicians just use the curtain to cover up while they climb up onto the box and then take the curtain from the assistant to allow the assistant to climb down. Notice the way that all magicians move the curtain up and down several times. This is so that any movement of the curtain caused while switching is hid. However, his was much faster so he had to already be on the box. The woman stands on the box with her legs spread so that he can crawl between her legs and be ready crouching already on to of the box. His face and hands are covered with black to hide against the black background. When the flame burst goes off she simply steps back and drops down behind the box. Chris stands up and he is ready. He probably removes his face mask and one glove while still crouching on the box looking down and hiding one hand so that only one glove needs to be removed after he stands. The rest is the same as the regular trick with the box having a back panel that opens down to provide a shelf to stand on.
It isn't usually difficult for me to tell how he does his tricks when I've seen his show.

Of course they are fake! Criss never said that he was really levitating or any of his illusions for that matter! An illusion is something that LOOKS like it is being done. He never claimed to be supernatural! I find it hilarious that people are trying to disprove him and say he is fake! Of course they are! That is what ILLUSIONS are and ILLUSIONISTS do! lol

Magic in and of itself is fake. Isn't it an illusion of the eye? All the things you don't see, that's what makes a good magician. One that leaves you thinking and guessing for more. Trying to debunk magicians and find their secrets really ruins it.

I was seriously thinking that David Blaine was the Devil. Being every single nationality in the book didn't exactly help him out. But some of those levitations aren't as easily explained. What about the one where he floats in miod-air, with nothing to step on? Hmm, HMMM???

I'll check out the site, but he's an illusionist, not a magician. He never claimed to have magical powers.
