One's in Paris. The other is in China.
One is a tower the other is a gigantic wall.
One is in a city known for love (and tasty pastries, I might add) the other is in a place known for it's intelligence and it's harsh customs.
One is in a place that is open the other in a place that is closed but opening.
Can I get any more specific than that?
One is in a place they speak French and the other is in a place where they speak various dialects of Chinese, Mandarin, etc.

The Eiffel Tower is in France and the Great Wall of China is obviously in China. It was built to keep invaders out of China during a dynasty with a crazy @ss ruler. Many people died during the construction of the wall and were throw in pits are buried in the wall

The Eiffel tower was built by paid workers. The Great Wall of China was built by peasants who were forced to work on it, sometimes to the point of dying and having their corpses thrown into it to make it bigger. The Eiffel Tower was meant to be torn down after its initial exhibition. The Great Wall was never meant to be torn down. That, and they are just a wee bit apart from each other...
