They can add their friendship, love, and support. Believe me those things mean alot to every couple.
As far as the wedding itself, the best thing the wedding party can do is act excited and happy to be in the wedding. If you don't' want to be a part, you shouldn't agree to be in it, but if you are in it, act happy. It's really discouraging to have uninterested people in your wedding, but at the same time when they show interest, it means alot. I cared more about that than the gifts when I got married.
