If you are good at math, how about some form of engineering? Those tend to pay well, and you aren't going to be at a desk all day for many...

Let me see if I have this right.
You want a career that pays well (really well, right), allows you to get out of the office on a frequent basis and work with people who share your goals. On top of that you're not only good with numbers but you enjoy working with numbers.
OK, I think I have figured out the perfect occupation for you. What do you think about....bank robber?
Yes, of course I'm kidding. But how about something in the field of electronics? Not TV and radio repair but perhaps electronic transmission or traffic engineering. After the army I went to work for the California telephone company, Pacific Bell Telephone. As I moved up in the company I had the chance to study communications engineering...traffic loads, routing and the like. It involved a lot of math and the people that did that work full time made very good money.
Just a suggestion. Good luck and I hope you find something that you enjoy doing.

Try Human Resources. It's a blast... and, once you get your career going, can pay very well indeed. You'll be able to use your accounting skills to produce budgets, variable pay modules, labor models, etc. and still have the interaction with people. No day in HR is the same, believe me.
I started out as an engineer and changed over to HR as a result of a merger.
As an engineer, I would probably have peaked out at about $100K. As an HR exec, I make over $150K total comp.

When you find it get me an application too. Just kidding, try combining things you like. Example if you are good at accounting and you like sports, maybe you can get involved with a major sports franchise in your area. A friend of mine did that and he is an account for 1 of the largest boxing promoters in the country. He gets to meet the fighters, travel, see the fights, go to the after fight parties. Any job is going to be only as good as you make it.

Maybe you could become a bookie in Vegas, or a stock broker on Wall Street.
