I was told that a doctor will not perform an abortion if you have had two or more in the past. Is this true?

An abortion can be performed every time you become pregnant....but each time an abortion is performed, scar tissue will occur, after several, you will no longer be able to concieve at all. And of course there are risks involved with each subsequent abortion, and these risks get worse with each one too. It is definitely not a good method of birth control. It is costly, risky and requires only a little planning on the woman's part to prevent. As for how many any given doctor will perform on one patient, that is I am sure individual to the doctor and his own personal ethics. Besides, if you go to a different doctor, he isn't going to know if you've had one before or not, unless you tell him.

No, it's not true, and don't listen to facts74, she's an idiot trying to brainwash everybody with her propaganda. Those website are highly exagerated; I've had two abortions of my own, I should know.

...And abortion is not murder. I'm tired of answering abortion questions, but I still continue to because I'm a woman, and it pisses me off to see people trying to take my rights away.

MY body, MY life, MY business, MY fetus, MY choice.

Although I do think some people are stupid for not using birth control, or taking the morning after pill, that doesn't mean they should be bringing a child into this world.

Also, sex is a beautiful, natural, pleasurable thing and anybody who says to wait until marriage is a moron. Marriage doesn't mean ANYTHING. Marriage is just a piece of paper you sign; marriage is a contract, and nothing else.
Everybody deserves to have sexual pleasure, no matter how young they are. If they are ready, let them have sex. It is nobody's business, and nobody has a right to criticise people who have sex. Yes, mistakes happen and the women becomes pregnant, that's why abortion is an option! What kind of person is going to stop having sex?! I know I can not live without sex. NO, i'm NOT some horny freak, but i love sex just like anybody else who is sexually active does. Sex is wonderful, and nobody can deny it or say they do not enjoy it.

Pro-lifers should just mind their own business already and worry about more important matters as opposed to obsessing over insignificant embryos and fetuses. Pro-lifers waste their time harassing and attacking people who have had abortions and pro-choicers just because they have different views and opinions. Pro-lifers can be accomplishing many things, but NO, they decide to waste their time getting into other peoples' business. I mean, come on, do they really think attacking abortion clinics, or praying in front of them will make a difference? They should mind their own business and get an education. "God" will not "help" them through everything. They should use their brains and stop relying on religion.

"Kill" the unwanted embryos, and fetuses!

I dont think there is a limit since I know someone that gets an abortion every single time she gets pregnant. Last time I talked to her she had around 8 abortions (that was like 3 yrs ago so she has probably had more). the scary thing is, is this girl is only in her early 20s by now.

Wow -- everyone seems to have an opinion about you even considering abortion, don't they? I'd suggest calling 1-800-772-9100 tomorrow morning. The people there have factual, unbiased information about your options and will support you whatever you choose to do.

Reputable doctors will not refuse to do a procedure like abortion unless they are concerned about your physical health. Do not lie to a doctor and tell her or him that you have not had previous abortions. They need your whole medical history, and it is not their place to judge you.

Hang in there. The most important thing about this decision is that it has to be YOUR choice -- nobody else's.

"abortionist" replaced into once the time period used to describe those who finished unlawful abortions, and this can comprise anybody from a popular practitioner, to a nurse, to someone with none clinical coaching. because of this many women folk died in the previous abortion replaced into made criminal with the help of Roe v. Wade. because 1973 that's been used as pejorative to describe clinical medical doctors who carry out abortions. For ideological or religious causes you could honestly expand the time period to comprise each man or woman who believes abortion could be licensed with the help of regulation, yet don't be shocked if a lot of human beings do not recognize what you're talking about.

Don't get an abortion!! If killing a human being is better to you then sending someone you could care and love and the best thing that could ever happen to you in your whole life, then don't have sex because no matter how good or whatever you think sex is, it's never worth having it if you have to kill someone for it no matter if it's illegal or not!!

Abortions are Wrong!!!!

1 is too many.

each baby is a gift from God. there are so many people out there who cannot have children of their own that would want that baby.

my fiance and i are trying to get pregnant, and if it doesn't happen in the next year, we're going to adopt.
