i'm in seventh grade and i love my mom, i really, really, love my mom, but i wanna know wat it feels like to shop with friends, to b able 2 buy anything i want cuz i feel like it. is this normal? and shud i start now?

As a mom, I suppose my answer would be, as soon as you are old enough to be less of a kidnap threat. While females of any age can be abducted by a predator. My own mom let me go when I was 14 and I'll probably let my daughter go to the Mall with friends when she is that age..maybe 15. A lot of it will depend on maturity and responsibility, which is individual.

Once You have a job or car. I started hanging out with my friends at the mall when I was 14 but If I wanted to get shopping done I went with my Mom till I had my own money

When i was 12, haha but im 15 almost 16 and still like going to the mall with my mom because she has money to buy me stuff!

sure I was 12, but I still go to the mall w/ my step mom alot, she looks like she's 19 and I'm 16 so no one knows she isn't just a friend, and she buys stuff for me and I can buy what ever I want

I would say around 15 or so. Be pateint the day is coming when mom won't want to go to the mall with you..lol Be happy with the fact that you have a mom that want to be apart of your life in any way....
Maybe if she met your friends and felt comfotable with them she would let you go alone..
