Look for a stick that says "Antiperspirant" not just deodorant. There is a difference.
Look for sticks, they really are better than roll-ons or sprays. Things like Secret Platinum, Mitchum for Women, Lady Speed Stick 24/7, are all about the same.
Certain Dri Antiperspirant is a prescription strength that you can buy at the store. It is supposedly Dr. recommended. Most stores don't put it next to the rest of the antiperspirants and deodorants. It's over with the pharmaceuticals. Ask a sales person about it or you can buy it online here:

Good Luck!

First, if you are only using DEODORANT and not an anti-PERSPIRANT, then that is the problem. Deodorants are like air freshners, they just cover up the smell. Antiperspirants will actually block the sweat glands. I am assuming you are female because men don't usually worry about how much they sweat. Very few people actually sweat an unusually large amount (meaning more than the average person) but because they are embarrassed about the sweating. Some suggestions if you are already using antiperspirants would include, showering twice a day (since its summer and hot anyway), wearing clothing that allows for more air circulation, thus cooling and decrease in sweating, wearing powder to absorb sweat, and if you still find yourself sweating (and I don't know your activities) when you don't want to, carry a small packet of wet wipes and antiperspirant to wipe off your underarms and re-apply antiperspirant during the day. Sweating (over all your body) is a neccessary mechanism to keep your body cool, and is even more important during this summer time of record high tempuratures.

Be sure you are starting with freshly washed underarms. Use anti-perspirant for the sweating and deodorant for the smell. You don't have to use 2 different products.... find a product that does both jobs.
Also, it's best to use unscented so that it doesn't interfer with the scent of cologne/perfume you wear.

Ask at the chemist. There's one you can use every night for a week then only 2-3 times a week. It really works even when usual deodorants have no effect at all.
Sorry can't remember what it's called.

Talk to your doctor, he/she can give you a Rx for a special deoderant that you put on at night.... I'm told that it works wonders.

Yeah, Certain-Dri is the kind the other guy is talking about that is really strong and you're supposed to use it at night. I've seen it at Wal-mart too, I think, when I was buying mine.

There is a treatment roll-on you can buy at most drugstores called Certain-Dri Roll-On. You use it at night and it helps with perspiration. Good luck!

Dove is the only thing that works for me.
Try that and if that doesn't work for you, then ask a dermatologist about stronger, prescription deodorants.

You sound like you are in need of a heavy duty mans deodorant. Maybe you should consult your pharmacist for advice.
