Knowledge plus experience equals wisdom.Wisdom means we have worked through problems before (experience). This knowledge keeps us from repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. Over time we gain wisdom. Wisdom is knowing that there is a solution to a problem.

Do you mean: why do we stop using our wisdom when we have a personal problem?

People such as counselors and therapists have their jobs because we often can't see where we are making mistakes or perhaps actually doing things right since we are often so involved in the situation that we can't step back and think clearly.

Traditionally people have always asked family members and/or good friends for advice or counsel during crises. It is normal human wisdom to get help.

I don't know in what sense you look at the matter.
Problem is an opportunity to make use of your knowledge. It is wisdom when you create your own solution using the knowledge.

Normally when we face problem, mind wavers and knowledge cannot be applied into wisdom. During time when we pass through problems, if we can safeguard mind from downfalls, solutions will easily evolve in the mind. Troubled mind cannot think in the right path.

This is my experience.

When we are confronted by the problem on a personal level, we tend to be affected emotionally. This will affect our sense of judgement and our ability to apply the best solution. This is especially prevalant in relationship problems.

What I usually do is to seek the opinion of a few other people who have been through a similar situation and emerge from it stronger than before. It is better to learn from other's experience.

All the best man!

Its even compulsory sometimes to loose our own wisdom cause this is a part of the world that we can understand the importance of thing with us only when that thing is not with us. and GOD is the one who controls our feelings so he need to build are wisdom more stronger for future problems and to make something more stronger sometime we have to break that thng even and join it with other so that the thng becomes more stronger and can fight with all the problems of the world.

We tend to get bogged down in the personal associations and background and other details of our own problems, which obscure the real issue. When we're dealing with other people's problems, we don't have these blocks to perception and therefore can put the problem into proper perspective.

First of all, widsom comes from a "Higher Being", so if we could get a strong focus on our inner being and why we are "here", then we would follow a straight path to fulfill our purpose in life. By putting our focus on GOD, our mistakes would lessen because HE is all that is "Good" and all that is "True". Thus, our lives would become less complicated as a result of our awareness.

because you are personally involved. it means that your feelings or emotion is trying to obscure your intellect or wits. hence it is highly recommended that you have to sleep over with it first than to burst out right away your emotion into flame. Or better seek second opinion from the wise community. Counselors even great ones do this as well coz theyre quite aware that this is one of those human limitations that we normally couldnt help alone with ourselves.

Wisdom and problem can't go hand in hand

What you are talking is factual knowledge . The more we know facts more we feel world is bad and feel bad about everything

Because reason and emotions arent "good friends", but cant live one without each other. That´s the whole idea of I.Q. and E.Q. as equally important sides in the formation and development of the personality.
