I want something quick and easy but will make my eyes pop and my lips look fuller. I'm thinking brown or white eyeshadow with mascara and a little bit of liner, and what about the lips?

For natural yet eye-popping makeup, try a mild shimmer shadow in your skin tone, applied from lash to brow line. Follow with a slightly darker tone of shadow from lash line to crease. Use a soft brown liner from the middle to the outside corner of your upper lash line, then apply a brown/black mascara. The outside edge liner will make your eyes pop, while the understated shadows will smooth the area and draw attention to your eyes themselves.

For lips, try using a soft lip pencil in a shade only slightly darker than your natural colour. Use the pencil to fully colour in your lips, smooth the colour, then apply a high-power clear gloss to make your lips pop without unnatural colour. The soft liner will stay better than lipstick and the clear gloss is easy to re-apply and has high impact.

1. Max Factor. It's used in all the commercials because it holds up.

2. Less is more, unless you are going for the corpse look, or Goth. The goal is natural. If you are overdone, you have that 'facelift look'. Then it's clear to everyone that you don't have a clue about makeup.

3. You didn't mention your eye color, hair color, flesh color, so it's a wild guess I am not going to take. But, whatever you do, skip the white eyeshadow — NOT.

4. If can give me more info, perhaps I can help.

5. Otherwise, sponge on Max Factor base stick. Blend it only on uneven areas of skin.

6. Apply lighter eyeshadow at inside of the upper lid & gently blend with brush a darker color (brown or grey) to the outer upper lid.

7. Now apply liner. Do not use black if you are of fair complexion. Again, use sponged applicator to blend liner out evenly with eyeshadow. Do not go overboard with mascara if you already have thick, dark lashes. Even if you have light lashes, don't go crazy. Let them follow the dictates of your eyebrows.

8. I can't go any farther, because I don't know if you are a Winter, Spring, Fall or Summer color person.

Good Luck!

If you want quick try something like Mayebellines Mousse eyeshadow. Or Mark by Avon has new eyeshadow sticks, which might even be better they have a beautiful dark brown shimmer (for more smokey) or even just do a champagne or taupe color with a brown or black e/liner. Try Tart's gel blush (you can get mini kits from QVC & I think Sephora). For lipgloss try Maybellines Shinylicious they have tons of colors. They are my new favorite, Chocolate Cherry is the best gives you that perfect hint of color. Pink Sorbet is great if you do a darker color on your eye, plus you can use that color over any liner or lipstick.

For a natural look, try a light pink gloss on your lips, a little blush, mascara on your top and bottom eyelashes and use a white eye liner. Don't' over do the eye liner though. It will bring your eyes out making it seem bigger.

Just a lip gloss that is no color but is shiny and an eyeshadow not too much darker than ur eyelida and you could do it a little shimmery. Yes lenthening mascara and just some eyeliner up top but not the botton of ur eyes.

I am a make -up FREAK...lol
I would say start by going to your local mall and see if they have a MAC make up counter of section the the department store or go online to find a MAC location near you. MAC is THE BEST makeup for women of all hues and skin types...they will give you a FREE make up make over and tell you about their product line which is top of the line as far as I am concerned..lol I always feel like a kid in a candy store when I am there..lol
To make your eyes pop think about wearing false eyelashes...it takes awhile to get used to wearing but well worth it! You can find some really inexpernsive ones in drugs stores even in WalleyWorld (what my kids and I call Walmart!..lol) they come with the eyelash glue and come right off just by peeling them off. They are my greatest accessories besides my jewlery..lol Don't let the glue scare you away (trust me I have glued my eyes together more than a few times) but i finally got it and now I wear them daily...be interested in hearing how it turns out....Good Luck!

no! no white or brown eyeshadow! use black or dark brown eyeliner and mascara and a shade of red or pink complementary to your skin tone and eye color on your browbone (between the brow and the lid- don't shadow the lid!) and top of your cheekbone near the outer corners of your eyes for your eyes to pop. (i have gray eyes so i use peach blush and pink eyeshadow.)
use a bright lip gloss for your lips.
this takes only 10-15 minutes!

Try some eye shadow that contrasts with your eye color but doesn't look clownish. Like if you have fair skin you don't want to wear orange or green eye shadow. i love these two eye shadows by cover girl because they are sparkly and not too over the top. They're named bedazzled biscotti and mauve souffle. If you really want glam up your eyes you'll want to use something extremly subtle for your lips like a nude shade, like Mary Kate and Ashley clear lipgloss.
