Well growing up with 2 other "amber's" in all my classes in school I wanted to give my kids uncommon names. I have met & heard of more people with my childrens' names since they were born than I had when I named them. But they still are not too common that I regret any of my choices, I love all my kids' names. They are:
Alexandria Elizabeth - 6 yrs old
Clayton Daniel - 4 yrs old
Dannicka Cheayne - 2 yrs old (pronounced like Danica Shane)
Erynn Marie - 1 yr old
What are your children's names?
If I ever have another girl her name will be Elysienne Isabelle, and a boy probably Liam or Isaiah.
Oh, & I wanted so bad to name Erynn Aislinn & call her Asa for short but her dad wouldn't have it. I think Aislinn is a beautiful, uncommon name.

Well if we gave them away they would no longer be uncommon now would they. No just poking fun, I always said that if I had a son (which I know is not going to happen because I have gained sanity as an adult and decided that I do not want children) I would name him Sir Sterling.

I somewhat have been having this debate in my head for weeks now. i'm caught between 2 attractive, classic woman names, that are regrettably hardship-unfastened, and an uncommon call that's not as state-of-the-artwork or classic. i think of finally we are able to pass with the classic/hardship-unfastened names. I did a learn on the acceptance of superb suited 10 names from 1980-1990 whilst in comparison with the superb suited 10 names from 2000-2009. the outcomes have been stunning to me! i presumed that names like Ava, Sophia, and Isabella may be the hot Jessica's, Jennifer's and Amanda's. notably, there have been an usual of 12000 extra females named Jessica, Jennifer and Amanda, than there are Ava, Sophia and Isabella. it form of feels that attractiveness in names isn't particularly comparable to it as quickly as replaced into. there isn't as many Ava's as there are Jennifer's. so some distance as spelling is going, I hate it whilst human beings butcher a attractiveness just to make it look extra unique. i think of it makes it extra unsophisticated than unique.

Hey, my first son's name is Dominic. Not too different but still pretty uncommon. My second son is Timothy... not too many of them his age. And our daughter's name is Teslyn... means pretty harvest.
I have yet to meet another Teslyn.
I have a friend who's name is Silver and she named her daughter Sativa.
I also know two sisters named Starra and Dryade (dree-aw-day)
And I know a little boy named Rythm and a girl named Azariah

My kids names are Michael Grace, Laurence Olivia, and the one on the way is going to be Emanuelle Louisa. They are all females. I like pairing male and female names. It's very uncommon.

well, there's only 3 differrent Ashlyn's in the world, but the other two are me, (on Yahoo Answers) (read profile for more info) umm, i guess that makes me unique, Ashlyn, but i think I'd rather go by my middle name because it's more of a name people can spell and say without going "HUHHH?" *while scratching scalp* so i guess if Ashlyn is uncommon to you it is to me, I've never met anybody with that name... u?

My name is Rhett and thought it was made popular by the movie Gone with the Wind.......it's been the hardest name to deal with. When I introduce myself people think i'm saying anything from Rex, Brett, Brad, Red, all the way to Rat.....makes me so mad. LOL. But I enjoy it at the same having a rare name.
