To be happy and follow my dreams, to inspire others that inspire me, and to give as much as possible. Remember:To sometimes slow down and tak a look around. You never know what you might see...

Slow Dance
> Have you ever watched kids
> On a merry-go-round?
> Or listened to the rain
> Slapping on the ground?
> Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
> Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
> You better slow down.
> Don't dance so fast.
> Time is short.
> The music won't last.
>
> Do you run through each day
> On the fly?
> When you ask How are you?
> Do you hear the reply?
> When the day is done
> Do you lie in your bed
> With the next hundred chores
> Running through your head?
> You'd better slow down
> Don't dance so fast.
> Time is short.
> The music won't last.
>
> Ever told your child,
> We'll do it tomorrow?
> And in your haste,
> Not see his sorrow?
> Ever lost touch,
> Let a good friendship die
> Cause you never had time
> To call and say,"Hi"
> You'd better slow down.
> Don't dance so fast.
> Time is short.
> The music won't last.
> When you runso fast to get somewhere
> You miss half the fun of getting there.
> When you worry and hurry through your day,
> It is like an unopened gift....
> Thrown away.
> Life is not a race.
> Do take it slower
> Hear the music
> Before the song is over.

I think we are born with an awareness of an empty spot somewhere deep within; growing, we search for ways to fill that emptiness.

Some folks use knowledge, which is not to be confused with wisdom. Some use work, which is not the same as productivity. Many try to fill that emptiness with money, which is not the same as true riches. Then, of course, are the mind-altering substances like drugs and alcohol, which do little to enhance awareness.

When we realize love seems to reach from edge to edge of that emptiness, some folks think relationships are the answer; they soon discover otherwise. Relationships fill more of that emptiness than money, knowledge or addiction but a discernable void remains. It doesn't quite fit the shape of the emptiness.

We move to religion, which is not the same as spirituality. Some are lost in the black arts, others to cults and pseudo-churches. We do not yet understand that religion is a philosophy; spirituality is a relationship.

It is only when we come to an understanding of the nature of Jesus that the emptiness is, at long last, filled to the brim. Sure enough, Love is the answer. Filling that God-shaped void within us makes us complete.

I have been born because it was destined that I have to suffer for a fixed period of time. This fixed period of time is called life for humans.

During this fixed period of time, my deeds are been recorded and at the end they are evaluated to see if I deserve one more round of punishment or I can get freedom.

So whatever I do and see during this time is all destined and I am been evaluated at each phase and it has a purpose.

For instance: I'll be tempted a lot by hot women to have sex. These are actually trick that I should fall in their trap and I will get the result of it at end of my life.

Sorry, but I need more space to express my views on this subject.

I think the meaning of life is to do the very best we can do at all times. I think we are given a short time on this earth to prove ourselves worthy of better things in the hereafter. I think we are given many choices in our lives and how we decide to handle these choices are a part of the process of life. If we choose to succeed, and to work and help others to find their path, that we are doing what our lives are meant to do. I think if you choose to be a person who depends on drugs or become a person who does hurtful things, then you have missed the true meaning of your life (for the time that you behave in that way) because you have lost sight of the idea of doing the best that you can possibly do!

Yes I do believe in God, and I do think that He gives us life, and He also gives us the Free Will to decide how we will conduct ourselves, and if we choose to win or lose.

Just my opinion.

the meaning to life in relation to each individual is unique to any one person and hence so is the opportunity given in fulfilling that individual's purpose/meaning in life.

meaning in life would have to be self actualization through a continuous process of acts of self transcendence, religious for most. Go to church. Tis a good place to start.

Life is a journey to be embraced moment by moent.

It is also about choices. The choices you make today will determine where you will be tomorrow.

My goal in life? To know that even one life has breathed easier because I have lived.

Christmas tells us the meaning of life - the meaning of Christmas doesn't lie in having a lot of presents or enjoying fine food. The meaning of Christmas, instead, lies in being generous. In the eyes of faith, the meaning of life lies in being generous with one another because God is generous with us. At Christmas we discover again in Jesus that God is infinite generosity; and in God's generosity to us and our generosity to one another, we discover again the meaning of life.
