The best quarterback in the league has to be Tom Brady. Three Super Bowl rings; I don't think any other starting QB has two. Second would be Peyton Manning; he has unbelievable talent around him, but so did Joey Harrington and we all know how well that worked out.
The question doesn't ask for a third but I think it's probably Carson Palmer. I don't even think Ben Toothlessburger cracks the top five.

brett favre is the best all-time i know he had a bad year last year but with the injury's to his teamates he still kept the pack in almost every game except for the ravens game.no other player has played through so much in his life like his dad passing away and brother in-law passing away, his home and family going through hurricane katrina.also to never miss a game and he is right there to break alot of marinos recoreds.this is why i think he should be listed as the #2 qb all-time and maybe the best ever

If Peyton's number 1, I would have to say that Donovan McNabe would be #2 cause Seattle still has Shaun Alexander, the Falcons still have Dunn & Ducket, BUT the Eagles had no one after McNabe went down last year and suffered because of it.

Eli would be #2, if about 15 others were tied for #1 ...he's not there yet.
I'd say McNabb, ceding #1 to Brady. Other candidates would be: Manning, Hasselback, Roethlisberger and Palmer.

Eli? HA!
How egocentric can you be?
I live in Chicago and everyone knows the second best quarterback in the league is Peyton Manning.
The best quarterback in the league is Tom Brady.

This is definetly aguable. I'd have to say that Brett Farve is one of the best (yes I know he's old) he has a lot of experience so he thinks about the game and he still has one of the best arms in the NFL (I'm not sure but I think that The Packers are 1st in passing yards).

Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL, Carson Palmer is the second best QB.
Ben Roethlisberger? Are you kidding me? He's not even top 10

I would rank them in this order:
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Ben Roth as in burger..lol (sp)
Carson Palmer
B.Favre ( one of the all time best...getting older..reason for his 5th place ranking)
Matt Hasselbeck
Eli Manning
Vick
McNabb
Schuab.(.back up to Vick...he should be a starter for some team)
